Five-lobed leaves overgrown with sharp hairs are on long stems. <span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\"><span class=\"Q4iAWc\">The flowers are large, unisexual, yellow. <\/span><\/span><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\"><span class=\"Q4iAWc\">Male flowers are either single, or collected in the leaf axil, while female ones are solitary. Present m<span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\"><span class=\"Q4iAWc\">inerals include magnesium, manganese, calcium, phosphorus, trace amounts of iron, copper and selenium, <\/span><\/span><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\"><span class=\"Q4iAWc\">and is also an excellent source of zinc. Thanks to phytosterols (mostly \u0394 7-sterols), pumpkin oil reduces the content of dihydrotestosterone in the body, by inhibiting the enzyme 5-\u03b1 reductase, which converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone.
