Case Study: Diabetstop

Diabetstop Front

A 60-year-old man has been suffering from diabetes for 30 years. At the very beginning of the disease, he tried to bring it under control by changing his lifestyle (he completely changed his diet and introduced regular physical activity), but this did not give the desired result, so the endocrinologist prescribed him therapy (oral antidiabetics). He was on oral antidiabetic therapy for almost 25 years, where different combinations of drugs with different mechanisms of action were prescribed. After large fluctuations in the level of glucose in the blood, the doctor decides to start the patient’s insulin therapy, because he believed that this would improve the patient’s condition and the three-month sugar level (HbA1c). In the beginning, he was given basal insulin (degludec), which he administered only once a day, in the evening around 10 p.m. Even after the introduction of new therapy, the disease was not brought under control, so the endocrinologist added fast-acting insulin (aspart), which he can apply 3 times a day if necessary (before breakfast, before lunch and before dinner). At the very beginning, the number of units of rapid-acting insulin was high, so the patient often had hypoglycemia (a drop in blood glucose), so he had to be very careful about the dosage of rapid-acting insulin, and this made him very exhausted.

He went for check-ups every three months. Of the laboratory findings in addition to glucose, HbA1c also controlled the level of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. The level of fat in the blood was increased.

At the last control, the level of triglycerides in the blood was 6.7 mmol/L (reference value 0.2-1.7 mmol/L), and cholesterol 7.5 mmol/L (reference value: ≤ 5.2 mmol/L) .
In addition to the diagnosis of diabetes and hyperlipidemia, he was also diagnosed with high blood pressure (hypertension).
The internist-endocrinologist prescribed drugs for increased fat, atrovastatin in a dose of 10mg (1×1 in the evening, before going to bed) and fenofibrate in a dose of 145mg (1×1 in the morning), and ramipril in a dose of 5mg (1×1 in the morning) was a therapy for high blood pressure.
The doctor drew his attention to the fact that he is taking two drugs for increased fat and that he must therefore control his liver enzymes (statins and fibrates are drugs that burden the liver, so the condition of the liver must be monitored).
Two months after the introduction of the therapy, he again performed laboratory analyzes of cholesterol, triglycerides and the three-month sugar level, and they were not at a satisfactory level.

Triglyceride level was 4.7 mmol/L (reference values 0.2-1.7 mmol/L), and cholesterol 6.5 mmol/L (reference value: ≤ 5.2 mmol/L), while HbA1c level was 10 mmol/L (reference values: 4-6.2 mmol/L).
Seeing that the results are not at a satisfactory level, the doctor again corrects the therapy and includes the following Alivitpharma preparations: Black garlic Diabetstop, Black garlic Cardio plus.
The patient starts using Black garlic Diabetstop (2×1 capsule after meals) and Black garlic Cardio plus (3×2 capsules after meals).
After two months of using these products, he did the analysis again and was positively surprised.
Cholesterol and triglycerides were within reference values, and three-month sugar (HbA1c) was 7.5 mmol/L. According to the patient, he was a bit skeptical and did not believe that it was his findings, so he went to repeat them. Also, repeated findings yielded similar results.
The patient was very happy, because he finally found a natural preparation that gave him the effect.
From the moment he started using these two products, he noticed that there are no longer large fluctuations in the level of glucose in the blood, hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia are much less common, as well as unpleasant sensations such as tingling and pain in the foot.
Now he constantly drinks Black garlic Diabetstop, 2×1 capsule and feels great, the results are better every time, he managed to reduce his three-month sugar from 10 to 6.5mmol/L, and he also reduced the number of units of insulin he gives, he completely eliminated the drugs for increased fat, while the dose of medicine for high blood pressure was reduced.
In addition to fermented garlic, the Black garlic Diabetstop preparation also contains cinnamon, alpha-lipoic acid, zinc, chromium, vitamins B1, B2, B12 and folic acid, and can be recommended to patients diagnosed with diabetes type I and type II diabetes.
